Fun for everyone at the Hunterdon County 4-H Fair Aug 24 – 28, 2022!
The annual Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair returns to the Hunterdon County Fairgrounds beginning August 24, 2022. The 4-H Fair features a variety of fun events including a tractor pull, 4-H Club displays, lots of animals, food vendors, carnival rides, live music, and family entertainment. You will find fun for everyone at this annual 5-day county fair!
4-H Fair Info + Parking
The 4-H Fair runs Wed, Aug 24 thru Sun, Aug 28. Admission to the fair is free! The cost of parking is $15 per car. The hours are 10 am to 10 pm, except for Sunday which is 10 am to 5 pm.
Fireworks are scheduled at 9 pm on Friday, Aug 26th.
Wristbands are available daily for carnival rides. From noon to 4 pm wristbands are $20 (until 5 pm on Sunday) and $25 per wristband from 5 -10 pm. Individual ride tickets are also sold at the event.
4-H Fair Fun Events
The annual 4-H Fair is the perfect place to have some country fun, featuring a ton of agricultural and farm events. Fair events include tractor pulls, horse events, ax throwing, rabbit and lamb shows, calf petting, a parade of sheep, and the goat olympics. There will be so many animals to get to meet, so get excited animal lovers!
4-H Club displays include needlework exhibits, photography contests, an art show, and eye-popping giant tomatoes and pumpkins in the gardening exhibits.
There will be plenty of music and entertainment at the fair. Featured music performances include The Backporch Jug Band, The Big Horse Band, Stone Hearth Bluegrass Band, Cramer Brothers Band, and Reel to Real Country Band. Family shows include Space Adventure Thrill Shows, Eyes of the Wild, Drill Team and Pink Ladies Performances.
Other highlights include displays from vendors and community groups along with carnival games and rides. Crave-worthy fair foods include roasted local corn on the cob, funnel cakes, homemade ice cream, and frozen cheesecake on a stick. See you there!
