Looking for dog-friendly activities? Bring Your Dog Along: Explore Dog-Friendly Activities in High Bridge and Clinton Township!

No matter what you plan on getting into this weekend, don’t forget to plan something for your dog, too! From dog-friendly restaurants, and drink spots, to outdoor adventures and farmers markets, here are just a few things that you and your dog can get into in the Borough of High Bridge and Clinton Township! 

Clinton Farmers Market (Clinton)

From 10 am to 1 pm on Sundays, you and your dog can visit the Clinton Farmers Market, located inside 63 Halstead Street. Pick up a treat for yourself from a variety of vendors, and a dog treat at the door! Make sure to get your dog photographed for their doggy spotlight on the market’s Instagram (@clintoncommunityfarmersmarket), every Sunday!

Columbia Trail (Townships Lebanon & Tewksbury; Boros of Califon & High Bridge)

Your dog is sure to enjoy all the new smells and sights this shaded-trail has to offer! Columbia Trail treks through woods, farms, backyards, over rivers, and a few different towns from High Bridge in Hunterdon County to Bartley Road in Morris County. Take your dog on the 15.1 mile (one way) trail, or as far as they’ll let you, and enjoy all that nature has to offer!

Bundt Park Dog Park (Clinton Township)

If your dog is less woodsy and prefers a social scene, take a 10 minute drive to the Bundt Park Dog Park! Inside Bundt Park – the Bundt Park Dog Park is a large, fenced in park equipped with agility structures, toys, and more. Separated for small and large dogs, sit back and relax while your dog enjoys making some new friends!

Now that you and your pooch have worked up an appetite, it’s time for food and drinks!

 

Circa (High Bridge)

If you’re returning from your adventures on the trail, both you and your dog will be happy to hear that your next meals are just a short walk down the street! Stop by for lunch or dinner on the patio at Circa, located on Main street in High Bridge. Make sure to order a dog-friendly treat and enjoy a large human-friendly selection – from steak tacos to southern fried chicken, Circa’s unique menu is sure to satisfy. Nothing pairs better with a meal than a doggy date! 

 

Gronsky’s (High Bridge)

Just down the street from Circa – Gronsky’s in High Bridge is the perfect sweet ending to your fun-filled day! Any dog will be wagging their tail at the sight of a vanilla scoop just for them!
