Phillips Farm Store

Get ready to fill up your basket, Hunterdon’s many farm stores, located amid the very farm their produce is from, will leave you with enough freshness for a lifetime! A fan favorite is Phillips Farms, located in scenic Holland Township just above the quaint borough of Milford, hosts a large selection of delectable produce options in their large barn store (Insider tip: if you love to pick your own, they have that option too!).

Descendants Brewing
  • Want to complete your trip? Take the short drive down the road from Phillips Farms to Milford! The town boasts a variety of unique shops and eateries, including the infamous Descendants Brewery! Enjoy local brews in a historic Victorian atmosphere while taking in the small-town charm of Milford!
Ironbound

Ironbound Farm is another great stop – plus, you can enjoy delicious hard cider and a bite to eat while making your visit! Back in the day, New Jersey was famous for its cider, with George Washington calling it the “champagne of ciders.” Taste the history and enjoy the rolling farm field views before stopping at the farm store. Their store has their cider for sale, as well as produce from the farm and various types of meats as well. Want to take Ironbound home with you all season? Consider participating in their CSA program!

 

Did someone say, Alpaca shop? A farm field of Tibetan Yak? In New Jersey!?

WoodsEdge Farm

Looking for something more than just fresh produce? Enter into the large barn store of WoodsEdge Farm, a farm that hosts Alpacas, Llamas, and even Tibetan Yak! Need a cozy pair of Alpaca socks? They have you covered! Be sure to ask to meet Larry the Llama – we promise, you will not be disappointed!

 

Looking for the classic farmstand vibe? 

Cervenka Farm

Located in Hunterdon since 1920 (yup, over 100 years!), Cervenka Farm has been providing the freshest of fresh for five generations! From vegetables and fruits to even some items from local shops like Fourchette, you will leave with a bag full of items with the taste of Hunterdon! During summer, they even offer you the chance to go cut your own sunflowers in their sunflower field! Lone Eagle
  • While you are at Cervenka, take a short country drive down to the historic town of Flemington! Stroll through the streets of Victorian homes and grab a cold brew at Lone Eagle Brewing! If you plan right, you might even get the chance to enjoy some of the many festivals in Flemington, like the renowned Corn, Tomato, and Beer Festival (yes, all three together!)!

 

Heading towards Frenchtown is Lauber’s Farm and Country Market, a classic country farm stand full of the freshest of fresh produce, straight from the fields of Hunterdon! Plus, the view from the stand is spectacular!

ArtYard
  • While there, take advantage of the fact that you are just a few minutes away from Frenchtown and explore is funky shops, unique dining opportunities, and the incredible art experience at Art Yard! ArtYard is not only a destination to view art by walking through, but also experience engaging performances and more!
